What does BSBP mean in SCHOOLS

The Burntwood School Building Project is a collaboration between the school, local businesses and community groups to renovate and improve facilities available at Burntwood School. We are also raising funds to ensure sustainable development for the future of our students.

The project will involve upgrading classroom spaces with new furniture, painting, modernizing technology and access, remodeling for better physical accessibility and more. All these renovations will help create an enriched learning environment for our students.

There are several ways to support this project! You can make a financial contribution directly or you can donate your time by volunteering in the refurbishment. You can also take part in events such as fundraisers and contests that we organize throughout the year. Lastly, you can spread awareness about this initiative by sharing it on social media platforms or other forms of advertising to attract more support from our dear community members!

The team providing oversight on this project is a combination of members from the school council and representatives from various businesses, organizations and non-profit institutions in our community. Additionally, specially trained professionals from construction companies have been recruited as part of the team responsible for ensuring quality outcomes of the building works done under this initiative.

We are aiming to complete all renovation work within 2 years or so. However, there may be delays due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that could affect timelines set out by us initially.

While efforts will be taken by us to reduce disruptions arising from construction activities occurring at school premises, certain changes such as temporary closure of some classrooms may be needed during certain periods of time or days when major works are taking place in those areas. Advance notification for such activities would be provided well in advance whenever possible in order for everyone’s convenience while using school facilities.

Safety has always been one of Burntwood's top priorities and we understand how important it is that everyone use appropriate safety measures while carrying out building works associated with this project. As such, all workers have been briefed on current safety regulations and proper protocols are put into place while they conduct their duties at any location related to this initiative. Moreover, regular spot checks would be conducted throughout each phase of construction activities for maximum safety assurance measure reachable at all times.

Yes – classes will continue as usual during works being undertaken even if particular parts of campus are blocked off due inadequate accessibility due presence/absence etc.. Necessary adjustments would be made wherever possible based on availability of alternative classrooms making minimum disruption expected.
