The Brooklyn Dodgers were a Major League Baseball team that played in the National League from 1884 until 1957. The club was based in Brooklyn, New York and was beloved by its fans for its historic rivalry with the New York Yankees. During their time together several iconic players were associated with the franchise ( Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Carl Furillo) and it won two World Series titles during its reign as one of the most successful teams in baseball history.
