What does ACBR mean in REAL ESTATE

The Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors (ACBR) is an organization that provides resources, education, and networking opportunities to real estate professionals involved in commercial transactions throughout Atlanta. Our mission is to provide members with the necessary tools to excel in their profession while advocating for ethical real estate practices.

Yes! We welcome all individuals who meet the qualifications for membership according to our by-laws. Membership offers many benefits, including access to publications and research reports, discounts on educational programs, networking opportunities with other members, and use of our member’s only website.

To be eligible for regular membership in the ACBR you must be currently engaged full-time in the practice of commercial real estate or related services; or employed full-time by a firm licensed by an appropriate regulatory agency; or hold a professional designation such as CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). Additionally, all applicants must show proof of current E&O coverage and pass a background check.

Absolutely! Members receive access to promotions and exclusive pricing on products and services from our preferred partners. We also offer discounts on continuing education courses as well as access to our private listing service which allows members to search for both listed and unlisted properties.

The ACBR hosts monthly meetings that feature guest speakers discussing topics relevant to the needs of commercial real estate professionals. We also organize several highly acclaimed specialty conferences throughout the year where industry experts come together around specific niches within commercial real estate. Finally, we frequently host social events such as golf tournaments, luncheons, dinners, trade shows, and more throughout metro Atlanta for networking purposes.

Yes – if you are self-employed or if you work at a firm engaged in commercial real estate activity that requires licensure from an appropriate regulatory agency then you must show proof that your license is active prior to submitting your application for review at www.acbrealtors/application.

Yes – upon acceptance into the Association we do provide an initial overview course introducing new members with everything they need know about taking advantage of their membership privileges including helpful tips on how network amongst peers and leveraging all available resources offered through engagements with ACBR staff & committees.
