What does BRBC mean in CHURCHES

The mission of Baxter Road Bible Church is to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, equip believers to live out their faith, and serve our community.

We believe that God has revealed Himself through His Word, the Bible, as one God existing in three persons—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also believe that Jesus came to earth fulfilling all of the Messianic prophecies by living a sinless life and dying on the cross for our sins. Finally, we believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

It is an independent non-denominational church which seeks to follow Biblical teachings without human tradition or modern theological schools. Although it is not formally affiliated with any denomination, its teachings fall in line with what would be considered evangelical Christianity.

The church offers many services including Sunday worship services, small group meetings throughout the week to study the Bible and pray together, children's ministry programming for kids aged 3-11 on Sundays during worship services, youth programming for youth aged 12-18, Bible studies online and at local churches or homes. Additionally we host special events such as retreats or seminars that focus on deeper bible study topics.

There isn't a strict dress code at our church; however we generally encourage neatness and respectfulness when dressing for public worship service. Many people like to wear something they consider "Sunday best". Please just remember that it is better not to draw undue attention to yourself but instead focus your attention toward glorifying God.

Our music comes from several sources including traditional hymns such as those found in “Hymnal” & “The Faith We Sing” plus contemporary songs from The Bridge Worship Collective & other modern praise & worship songs used here & elsewhere throughout North America & worldwide today!

Absolutely! We have age appropriate classes starting at 2 years old available during Sunday school hour (9am - 10am). In addition we offer nursery care and age appropriate classes during our Sunday morning Worship Services (10am - 11am). Lastly we provide various activities throughout the year like Vacation bible school (VBS), Camps & special outings geared towards children both inside & outside church walls!

Yes absolutely! Locally we actively partner with organizations such as Loaves & Fishes in providing meals to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Globally our church participates in international mission trips every year where members help assist missionary work within countries around the world from Africa all the way over to Southeast Asia!
