What does NDRC mean in DISABILITY

NDRC provides a variety of services designed to improve the quality of life for those living with disabilities. These services include advocacy, employment and transition assistance, family support, independent living skills training, information and referral, assistive technology education and more.

All persons living with physical or mental disabilities in the northeast United States are eligible for NDRC services. Those who are under 18 must have parental consent prior to receiving any service from the center.

Yes, NDRC offers many virtual resources including a library of informational articles on disability topics, educational webinars and videos featuring experts on a variety of topics related to disability rights and resources as well as an online forum where clients can connect with one another for peer support.

While NDRC does not provide financial assistance directly, they do partner with other organizations that may be able to provide additional funding or resources depending on individual needs.
