What does YHA mean in YOUTH

Yes - although individuals must be 18 or older to make their own booking at a hostel directly through YHA, we allow those under this age to book with a parent or guardian present. Group bookings may require all members to be 21 or over. Please check with your local hostel for further information about age restrictions.

No - unfortunately due to other guests sensitivities and safety considerations we cannot accept any pets into our hostels except in some designated pet-friendly locations where special arrangements can be made in advance with the appropriate staff.

Every YHA hostel includes comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms (in most locations) free Wi-Fi/Internet access and communal lounge spaces or kitchenettes depending on their location and type of room choice booked by our guests. Some hotels also boast additional facilities such as swimming pools or recreational activities available within the area close by (e.g., Yoga Classes).
