What does WWAF mean in FEDERATION

The WWAF provides advocacy for creative expression in the form of programs and initiatives that support individual artists and organizations that develop public interest in the arts. This includes resources on copyright law, promoting educational opportunities in art-related disciplines, organizing international events dedicated to various forms of art appreciation, subsidizing artist residencies abroad program grants, as well as providing recognition awards for outstanding artistic achievement.

Any individual artist or organization with a focus on art can become a member of the WWAF. This includes visual artists such as painters or sculptors; performing artists including those involved in theater, dance or music; craft makers; digital media producers such as video game designers; curators; critics; publishers; educators; public institutions involved with presenting or exhibiting the arts; etc.. The only requirement is that members must have a primary interest in developing appreciation for the arts worldwide.
