What does ASPH mean in SOCIETIES

The Arizona Society for Professional Hypnosis (ASPH) is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization that seeks to promote ethical and professional standards of hypnosis and support continued education among Arizona's professional practitioners.

ASPH membership is open to any individual who has an interest in hypnosis, whether professional or personal. Some categories of members include licensed medical professionals, students, mental health providers, educators, corporate trainers, and anyone with an interest in the field.

Membership in ASPH provides access to many resources that enhance understanding and use of hypnosis including educational seminars and lectures from leading experts in the field, networking opportunities with other professionals in the area as well as discounts on books and other materials related to hypnosis.

Yes! Through its Continuing Education Committee (CEC), ASPH provides certifications for those interested in becoming a certified hypnotherapist and continuing education courses for existing professionals. The CEC also offers seminars throughout the year on a variety of topics related to hypnosis.

ASPH typically meets four times per year at their annual conference in April as well as three general meetings throughout spring/summer (May/July/September). Special events are also held periodically throughout the year.

Yes - there is an annual fee that must be paid by all members upon first joining and renewing each year thereafter. This fee helps cover administrative costs associated with running our organization such as hosting meetings and events throughout the year as well as distributing relevant materials to our members.
