History
Northeast Georgia Medical Center was established in 1946 with its first location being in what is now known as Old Town Gainesville. In1984, the hospital moved to its current location on Jesse Jewell Parkway. Since moving to its new location, NGMC has grown steadily. The hospital has expanded its services over the years including opening two additional hospitals: NGMC Braselton and Lanier Park in 2005 & 2008 respectively . With these additional locations, NGMC is able to serve even more patients throughout North Georgia.
