What is an AKV?

An AKV (Aircraft Ferry) is a type of cargo/freight aircraft that has been designed specifically for transporting large and heavy payloads over long distances. These planes are typically larger than regular airliners and equipped with reinforced landing gear in order to accommodate the extra weight they have to carry.
