What does FABA mean in BUSINESS

The French American Business Awards (FABA) is an annual event hosted by the French-American Chamber of Commerce that honors individuals and companies that have achieved excellence in business involving France or with a French company.

The FABA is sponsored by the French-American Chamber of Commerce, which works to strengthen U.S.-France trade relations as well as honor innovative leaders who promote respect on both sides of the Atlantic.

The FABA typically takes place each year in early spring in New York City, though the exact date for each year may vary depending on availability.

At this event, various awards are presented including Corporate Awards for corporate entities, Individual Awards for individuals demonstrating excellence, Humanitarian Award for exceptional work outside of business ventures, Rising Star Award for young professionals making significant contributions to both countries' economies, Honorary Member Award for those who have had an especially outstanding relationship between U.S.-France business ties, and finally People's Choice Award chosen through public voting on favorite finalists each year.

There are no specific requirements to enter or attend FABA unless you are entering your company into one of the Corporate Awards categories; then you will need to provide supporting documentation such as evidence of success in terms of profitability, sales growth etc., industry recognition and/or customer references showing proof that you have been successful working with France or within a US/French collaborative venture.
