EREA was established in 2003 as a national body that would bring together the various autonomous branches of the Christian Brothers’ Congregation in Australia into one united body. Since then it has provided dedicated leadership at a national level to its member schools in areas such as curriculum development; professional learning; ensuring safe environments; social justice initiatives; student welfare; family support services; teacher recruitment; marketing strategies; finance services and much more.
