What does LPLT mean in EDUCATIONAL

The Langley Park Learning Trust (LPLT) is a multi-academy trust in the South East of England and was established in April 2013. It aims to provide high quality and inspirational education for young people aged 4-19 years, enabling them to successfully participate in society as responsible, successful citizens.

The LPLT currently has five academies; four primary schools and one secondary school, all based within the London Boroughs of Bromley and Bexley.

The LPLT provides a range of services dedicated to ensuring educational excellence, such as school improvement services, support for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), transition arrangements and access to physical resources.

Members of the Learning Trust are expected to have an interest in improving educational results, be actively engaged with their work and be motivated by success. They should also demonstrate leadership skills and be willing to contribute positively to conversations relating to the development of their school or area.

All applications must go through a rigorous selection process in accordance with statutory guidance on admissions arrangements. This includes demonstrating evidence that they meet the criteria required by Ofsted for academy sponsors. Parents/carers wishing to apply should contact their local academy before completing an application form.

To work within a school within Leadon Park Learning Trust teachers/staff must meet all qualification requirements relevant to their role as set out by their governing body such as DfE or OfSTED, hold any necessary professional qualifications related to their teaching subject area or experience, and have satisfactory references from two previous employers.
